All new clients must schedule a get-to-know-you appointment. This allows you to meet The Pet Nanny and discuss your pet’s needs. The Pet Nanny will note all information and care instructions for your pet. This information will be stored in our records for future reference. Please remember to update us if your pet care instructions change.
Keys
The Pet Nanny asks that all clients provide keys directly to The Pet Nanny, they are asked to have two sets of keys to each lock available at the time of registration. The Pet Nanny will double-check to see that the keys you have given us work in the appropriate locks. The daily walker is responsible for one set and the other set is secured at our local office in case of an emergency.
Reservations
The Pet Nanny must be notified of all new service requests, changes to existing services, or cancellations. If you do not make your request with The Pet Nanny, The Pet Nanny cannot be held responsible for any errors in scheduling. You can make your request by email thepetnanny@thepetnanny.info or by telephone (301) 328-9641 or (571) 238-3045. If you leave a message or send an email, please do not assume that we have received your message until we confirm it. All messages will be confirmed within 48 hours. Please DO NOT leave town without a confirmation.
We require a minimum of two (2) business days notice for all pet sitting reservations. If you make your pet sitting reservation with less than two (2) business days notice, we may not be able to accept your reservation.
DOGGIE WALKS
Standard Dog Walking - This is a perfect opportunity to provide your pet with 30 minutes of activity during the day while you are away or at work. Each visit includes a walk, fresh water and a treat for your dog. These walks are done Monday - Friday between 8AM - 6PM.

LOVE MY HOME In-your home visit
When you are on vacation, business travel or have emergency situations, leave your pet at home in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Overnight Pet Sitting - We will make sure that your pets are safe and comfortable at home, maintaining their normal routine while you are away. Includes feeding, playing with, walking, TLC and providing medication to your pets in the comfort of your home. We will also bring in your mail and newspapers.

Express in-home Pet Sitting - We will make sure that your pets are safe and comfortable at home, maintaining their normal routine while you are away. This visit includes feeding, playing with, walking, TLC and providing medication to your pets in the comfort of your home. We will also bring in your mail and newspaper, adjust lights and drapes, and clean litter boxes. This visit usually last about 20 minutes.

Pet Transportation - Pick up and deliver your pet to the vet or groomer. Travel and visit charges apply.
NON-KENNEL BOARDING
If your pet requires more specialized attention and gets along well with other pets, we welcome your pet in our home. This boarding service is for a limited number of overnight guests. Your dog can skip the kennels, isolation and stress while you travel. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day and the owner lives on the grounds. Your pet is treated like one of the family. Facility includes 1/2 acre six foot fenced yard and swimming pool privilages in the summer. Must be non- aggressive and up to date on all shots.

MEDICATIONS
Your pet care professional will administer medication to your pet according to your instructions. Fees for administration of medication are as follows:
Topical medication: No Charge
Oral medication in food: No Charge
Oral mediation without food: $3 per administration (Note: if your pet easily takes the meds, this fee may be waived.)
